Looking at Rick Owens collection Cyclops woman Spring 2016 I was really moved by the models caring each other and holding hands like they were connect. He was inspired by how women are cherishing others, by metaphorically taking on the weight of the another person. This got me thinking about adoption and how a non-biologic mother gives everything for a child from another breed and how special that is. I wanted to give that a positive light and looked up all the ways why we are holding hands and did interviews with people who were adopted.
